    Hi all,

I have to change my Across over to Victorian rego so I'm off to get a roadworthy certificate.

The VicRoads site is pretty vague as to what is checked i.e. there doesn't seem to be any bike specific checklist.

Any tips on anything I should make sure of before the inspection?

I can't see why it wouldn't pass, but we all know what government departments are like...

    Hey Brad
Here in Queensland the roadworthy intales a complete check over of the motorcycle. All lights must be in working order including the one for your plate. Brakes are in good order, brake lights both front and rear work. The horn must be audible, tires must have reasonable tread and wheels checked for bearing movement. Check for oil leaks, they don't like oil leaks here.
In the main it is a comprehensive check over of your machine. Common sense would suggest that that's what we would want for our machines anyway.
Good luck with it, most checks pass with not much drama.

    Hey Brad

Phil covered most of them, I do know they check for leaking fork seals as well as brake pads to ensure they have plenty of meat left on them

here is a pretty comprehensive list of what they should look for
