Hi all, i discovered this hole on the right hand side of my engine because a tiny amount of steam or smoke was coming out. Is it supposed to be unplugged and have steam coming from it?

It is a drain hole for the area around the spark plugs. Make sure it is clear right through to centre plug on both sides. Use a piece of welding wire or brushcutter cord pushed through and a torch to see if clear.

there's supposed to be a plug there like the other 2 at the top. I used an old chain linkage that I found lying on the floor of my garage as a replacement
