    hi guys
    im andy ive got a yamaha rd350 ypvs track bike in which im fitting a zxr 250 front and rear end
    need some help identifying the forks i have for seals etc

    iive measured the fork tops.under the top yoke is 50mm further down near the slider is 51mm
    slider is 41mm

    That rear wheel looks like it is off a zxr400, the zxr250a has 5 spokes and the c model is different again

    Can you post some other pics of the forks including the top caps and the other side of the lower fork leg

    are the standard calipers good enough for trackday riding
    im used to 4 pot triumph calipers at the moment
    i dont want to be running out of road

    If you can get the dust seal out of the way you may be able to see the oil seal, which will have some codes on that you should be able to google - oil seals tend to come in standard sizes. I wouldn't recommend buying from Pyramid Parts as they'll likely send you some horrible single lipped jobbies, better to search out some lovely double lipped NOK seals - these are almost certainly what you'd get if you bought from Kawasaki (or whoever).
