What pics and measurements do you need exactly? Mine aren't i. The best condition but I may be able to help
Thanks for the offer. Any of the dimensions that you see on the web page and pics of those dimensions being taken would be a bonus. I'll add the ZXR250A in eager anticipation
Don't rush, just looked at the diagram and I will need a very quiet day to get it done but will when I can
Some members on the Honda CB-1 forum sent dimensions and pics so my faith in humanity has been restored. I added the FZR250 3LN, which consists of nothing but the disc diameter at the moment, and the Honda MC22 which has nothing at all.
Members on the CB-1 forum contributed most of the info for that model with some pics too. hint, hint Oops that is old news. Oh well
Well it is November, time for a bump. I have the length of the 1998-2001 Yamaha R1 forks thanks to a UK forum. Another great leap forward for mankind. All 250 four owners you can give me the dimensions of those forks too so that if anyone wants to go to USD they have the information they need. http://www.litetek.co/Guide_USD_ForkDatabase.html cheers Blair
Sorry mate I would give you all the dimensions I used to complete my little project but I am currently a very long ways away from my bike... I do remember being on the steel lathe making col-lets for the stem to fit the frame of the 250.... I also spent a lot of time measuring and re-measuring to get it close to the original... what I was not prepared for was the non-compressed height of the ZXR-A forks I used... While I was measuring on flat ground and using stands, once I had the bike out and parked it on a slight incline it look like it was rearing up on the back wheel so i had to get it back in the garage and play with suspension... It was a long process and a lot of time spent out asking for peoples wisdom on bike suspension... But looking back on it I do wish I had more time to iron out the small problems I was having...
I added part three to the first post. Part four will be fitting the triple clamps and the process of designing and fitting a custom stem. cheers Blair
Thank you @Damus for contributing something. We now have most of the details for the MC22 Honda. http://www.litetek.co/Guide_USD_ForkDatabase.html
Nice there's some good information in this thread! Not sure if this post help's here but i found a few dimension list's a while ago, feel free to delete my post if it doesn't fit in Motorcycle Fork length's http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53934 Steering stem bearing size's, to show what may be compatible http://www.ohiocaferacers.com/ http://www.caferacer.net/forum/project-builds/14059-triple-tree-fork-conversion-chart.html And a list of fork tube size's http://www.ohiocaferacers.com/ There was a list of Tripple Clamp dimension's somewhere too but i can't find it atm
Yes, but I have not done anything to it other than make it shiney. Seeing as how you asked so nicely I will get onto the specs today.
