    That ladder idea is brilliant!

Yea .... Ive never tried it but seems workable with a decent sturdy ladder

The ladder works well, have used it a couple of times in the past. We used straps from securing the bikes on the trailer.

I feel slight regret for copping out and going to the mechanic (please don't take my man card).
They popped up the front had a look at the column, wheel bearing ect ect and where like... It's fine.
Then took a look at the back and where like yeah rear tyre is out, they are also doing a chain lube and clean 60$ (ouch, for what could have been free) but I guess better piece of mind knowing the front end is fine.

They said there is still plenty of grip on my tyres.
So I guess that's a few things knocked off the list.

=( this has been a really bad day. It didn't fix the problem, and then I actually realised the whole time I have had the bike I have been leaning to the right and not sitting up straight, when I sat up straight the bike started pulling to the left. I figured **** this, the tyre must be point to the left, went up to a tree and started banging the tyre against it with the steering column, after a few good whacks and going back on the road to test it now its REALLY fkn bad. The tyre is practically doing massive sizes death wobbles and is all over the shop. Where to go from here *sigh*.

    Hey damus,

Time for a wee break to collect your thoughts .

If I was you I would pop it into the same bike shop and ask them to ride it to give you a definitive answer about the front end. Ask them to take it for a ride and validate if there is an issue

Your right Kif. After I walked into my house, I wanted to have a beer and watch some motogp (because I just got the season pass) but I am even too upset to do that, Ill probably just sit here in silence for an hour being like "damn..."
Outside of that yeah I am gonna just ride over to same bike shop tomorrow and be like hey gonna leave the bike with you guys! give it a ride *smiles* let me know what you think! Thaaaaaanks *runs off crying*.

Its funny you say that because that has gone through my mind too. But I have no idea, I might go down and take a quick look and see if I can do it up a little tighter and give it a quick test

yeah tight as all hell, there is also no free play in the wheel. Even though I am guessing id say its either a buckled wheel (cant see any evidence) or a bent axle from the fact that I am getting veeeery wide wobbles from it.

A bit axle would explain everything actually, but i mean how often does that happen, ud think it would smash the bearings first.

Maybe the steering turning was just your position on the bike and road camber. now you've gone and bent the wheel jack it up or use the side stand lifting trick and spin it youll see the buckle . image.jpg Heres my fork stand it was lifted by a brick and a hammer on a jack under the engine

Sounds seriously crook, got to be something pretty obvious.
Have a good look over the bike chassie, check all the main bolts are there holding the engine in place & that there's nothing cracked in the chassis.
Be careful tightening the triple tree clamps, they will snap easily if overtightened.
The bike mechanics will find the problem if they ride it.

Yeah called them up today, gonna take it there this afternoon and leave it with them so they can ride it ect.
After cooling off I am feeling a lot more optimistic about the whole thing.

Amazing what a good night sleep will do, sometimes it's just easier to walk away and come back to it later.
Hope it works out for you......stay positive. :thumb_ups:
