Little vid on the 2023 Norton Commando... an expensive retro ride.... Hopefully they survive and bring back some pride to the name. I think most people have a soft spot for the older Nortons.
I was also impressed at how easy the barrel goes on... must be some serious lead in on the bottom of that barrel. Maybe we are just way too fussy in our assembly protocols
Must be nice to assemble something with such clean parts though. No grease or grime anywhere. Neat engine stand too
Check out the 150cc 2 stroke drag racing from Thailand... love the superman style and changing gear with their hand... plus all the safety gear.....NOT
Note that the 130kg weight limit includes rider. A good demonstration of how important weight is, and look at the tiny tyres they run.
I was watching the Thai drag racing YT vid and saw the following link in the side bar. I thought @Murdo might enjoy this as he's a big fan of farm equipment and working on the land. Belated birthday present mate; Enjoy.
Now if only Irving Vincent could do that. There is no retro that could hold a candle to the Vincent. Oh wait a minute, Aus right? Nah, we just dig holes and sell dirt.
Thanks for posting the sprocket video Chief. As I had a desk job for all of my working life, I find manufacturing videos fascinating. Oddly, while I was watching that video, I thought about 'The Jetsons' and wondered how different sprocket making will be in the future (FYI...George Jetson worked at Spacely Sprockets)?
I didn't have the Jetsons theme song in my head, but I do now! Oh well, it replaced 'senses working overtime' by xtc...don't ask, I have no idea how that song got in there? How the Jetsons should have been... (18 seconds in to about the 1 minute mark)
How nice, that is Roel in the Netherlands. Took my MC22, NC30 and the 3LN3 to him for 'heavy' maintenance.
Just pinched this one from facebook, it belongs with the video above and is just pure evil genius IMO
