    Yes, but most of those are diaphragm jobbies, which I do not want. That K&L one that I linked to is an 18mm version, they just answered my email, so no good. I don't care if it is Chinese but even a good brand or OEM is not too expensive for a simple tap.

    The first 3 aren't diaphram type, and the 4th one is brand new genuine Honda for $139 delivered from Japan

    I was about to order a genuine one, but that price is in usd, it is about the same price as Xcitebikes once converted

    I ordered one of the Chinese versions of the OEM which Kiffsta warned me about. Don't want to pay the planet for a diaphragm OEM job hence the quest for a normal tap.

    There is always the modification that @Murdo made on one of his Honda's if memory serves me correctly... changed it from a vacuum to a standard on / off...

    For my VT250.
    Ditched the vacuum plate and diaphram, made a 3mm alloy plate to cover where the diaphram was and blocked the air hole with some Devcon epoxy. Worked fine.

    Poor thing is an endless sea of butchery, as usual. This is the front tank mount. I can't even helicoil it. Never mind, I will make an aluminium insert thread, epoxy it in, and the tap it back to the original size.

    Now question for the day @kiffsta and friends. I bought new tank mount rubbers but I could not get the rear collar, part no 17525.KG7.830 (#10 in the attached image) from Megazip unless I bought it from US warehouse and pay the planet in shipping. If someone could measure that for me I would much appreciate it, then I can make one.

    Edit: It has been tapped out to 8mm. That seems to be too large even for the big-sert.

    I have drilled and tapped M10 bolt's to M6 to use as thread insert's before, and just Loctite them in
    Those Champion thread insert's are good as they are thick, usually around 10mm for an M6 bolt, and they are self tapping
