    In reality though its 8 hours away ... so thats a night or 2 stayover and we know the cost of diesel .... so it doesnt stay a cheap $500 dunger in the end.

    Yep, it's actually quicker from Melbourne to get the bike. I'm guessing the FZR400 is a pretty good bike from what I've read about the 400's. 59 to 64bhp depending on the write-up. This article seems to cover it fairly well.

    Diesel hit $2.30 here today, so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon other than maybe the next Bike Mayhem at Heathcote Park Raceway.

    Pity I am not heading that way soon. Wagga isn’t far away and I will have to head to Scone sometime in the next month or so with the trailer on to bring back an IBC I left up there.
    I could potentially get the bike and store it till I am heading up if @GreyImport really wants it.
    It will require some explains but can be done

    Seen a few FZR400's for sale in the past, and kiffsta's CBR400RR once when we had a ride up the Gwydir.
