As the bike engine needs a big end bearing done and I am in no position to pay to get it done and don't have the tools etc to do it myself, I'm looking at selling the whole bike (preferable) or a part-out. But would rather sell off the whole bike to make space in the garage.

Engine does start and run, but doesn't sound healthy. Everything else working.

Open to offers for the bike.

If you want a part, let me know what you want, but whole bike sale will take precedence over a part out.

    PM me either way.

If no interest, it will just get parked for a while. Whilst I have paid for a deposit on a replacement Aussie (red rocker cover) engine that I planned on picking up in October, I'm not sure I want to keep going with this as No1 son wants something he can ride now and work on at the same time. Rather than something he can't ride and can only work on at present.

Hoping that someone will grab it, that has more time to put into this. As mentioned bike does run, just not healthy.

Previous owner wasn't able to start it at the time. But we noticed that the spark plug leads were not fully connected into the plug caps. Decided to replace the leads with new stuff (Thanks Murdo) and so we got spark - then replaced the spark plugs with new ones at the same time and also did the front brake caliper with new seals as it was seized and also replaced the rear brake lever as the original one was broken. Previous owner was I believe a mechanic so had taken the carbs apart and cleaned them all out. Though, I did note that the mixture screws were 3.5 turns out and not the factory setting of 1.5 . So we adjusted that as well.

Got the engine running, but wasn't healthy - obviously.. But all else just needs some TLC. I just don't feel like paying to fix a Big end bearing or going to the expense and hassle of getting another engine running in it.

That said - I did pay a small deposit on an engine. But would rather lose that deposit if someone wants to buy the whole bike. No 1 son would prefer something mechanically good and just fix up the cosmetics and anything else as time permits. Rather than go through a rebuild like it will be currently.

But if no one wants it before October - I guess I'll be buying that engine and letting the whole thing sit in the garage for a while and tinker with it as time permits..

If it was in Vic, i'd be keen on it. Got a 400 engine that i could fit to it. Or make fit, either way.

Yeah, still available, but you are in Italy, and I am in Australia.

I have recently bought an engine for the bike, so if someone wants the bike now, it will only be sold as a whole bike with the replacement engine.
