Hi guys! Pulled my forks off to replace the seals and found a bit of a problem, my left upper fork tube was bent soo crap.. I've got a 250 suzuki across 1995 and can't find a part for it cheap, from suzuki they can get it but it's $800 for just a bit of metal tubing and I was thinking if the fork seals fit so many different bikes maybe there's fork tubes that can be interchangeable too?

Google "fork tube diameter chart" I have it on a flashdrive but it came from Dotheton site originally.
That will at least let you find something the same diameter.
Another Suzuki model would be where I'd look first.

Can you not straighten the tube you have?

Ok thank you, we could probably try and straighten it but it's a very soft metal and didn't want to break it or bend it worse

To straighten it you need to find someone with a press who knows what they are doing.

RAD Hard Chroming in Qld will straighten them and rechrome them as well if they have any pitting / corrosion etc.
Expect to pay around $350 plus postage but they will come back better than brand new.

That is what I was quoted late last year so should still be around that figure.
Unless of course @risky has more up to date info.

Last set I sent to RAD was $420 - rechrome (badly pitted on upper part) and straighten.
    Did a fantastic job!

For my GT250B rebuild replacement fork tubes weren't available hence using RAD for the rechrome.
For the GT250L rebuild TnK had new tubes listed. Ended up getting them delivered from overseas (eBay) for about the same price as RAD charged.

I do believe that kiffsta in now the Australian agent for TnK.

I was buying Tarrozi off the Australian distributor , but sadly he passed away last year and no one took over his business . I can buy direct , but I dont want to be an importer as it kills my insurance and you have spend heaps to have a reasonable amount of stock on hand
