    Been doing a bit on the bike. Made a steering head bracket from some 1.2mm sheet. Cut three 32mm holes and using the 'dimple' dies pressed the flanges.

    Cut through the centre and welded each half to the frame.

    Finished the welds and ready for blasting and painting.

    Got the frame back from the blasters and gave a couple of coats of 2K black. Fitted new tapered roller bearings to the steering stem and fitted up the forks, front wheel and bars. In with engine and back wheel, out with back wheel to re-machine one of the spacers, back in with the wheel and electrical harness. Painted the tank and rear guard with some silver I had left from my chopper build and fitted when dry. Carb and air cleaner on with cables attached. Still some wiring connectors to be fitted. Waiting on exhaust and chain from 'the bay'.
