    There was a bit of talk about what performance the FZR was..

    I ran into a friend who drags regularly and he mentioned about a FZR250 recently that was running in the 14's

    I think that is similar to a standard 5 litre Commodore or Falcon V8.

    thats about the figures ive heard to from a fella who weighs 85 kg running his down the strip. its at the higher end of the 14's from what i hear though, for a 2kr at least. as far as the commodores go they all now run a 5.7L gen III or a 6.0 litre ls2. the SS (5.7) runs in the low 14's and a clubsport(ls2) runs in the low 13's depending on the transmission and the driver. just a little info for ya ;)

    As far as I know it was a standard bike. Story is the regular bike was not ready for the meet and since he had prepaid his entry he took the FZR.

    Interesting. How piss funny would it be to beat a guy on a 250 stroker.

    Sure they have a higher top speed but all the better for the loser flyby. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

    Good work. What was your 1/8 mile ET on the run? Where did you run? Post the timecard please.

    Westonzoyland, Somerset UK. It was a sprint, similar to drag racing but best time in class counts rather than first passed the line. The one timecard I didn't get was my best time but here is my next best. ts1.jpg ts2.jpg

    Man no chance in hell any 4t 250 would beat a 2t 250. Those 2 stroke 250's are crazy fast.

    Good work Terry. 9.50sec to the 1/8 mile on that run. That's right up there. What weight class would you be in? We have two classes at the moment, featherweight and Open. There's one person in the featherweight class and the rest of us are currently in the "Open" class!

    Don't have weight classes here, I am about 70Kg naked and the bike is standard weight.

    We don't have weight classes here either. It's more an "in-house" joke as one of our 2fiftycc drag racing members weighs less than 60kg and the rest (most) of us are in the 100kg and over class. Hence, the "jockey" is quite a bit faster over the drag strip than the rest of us so we put him in a separate class. His current best 1/8 mile time is 8.84! He hasn't run the full 1/4 mile yet, but we're all pretty confident his times will start with a 13.

    Nice
    On that last time slip the other rider left early (.381 R/T), over here if that happen's it's an instant win to you.
    Look's like you need to get some practice leaving the line on the 2nd to last orange light to better your reaction time's.
