Hi, a little info, does any of the VTR250 gauges fit the Spada VT250, it does look like the top triple clamp looks similar TIA Trevor
The drive or signal ratios are the important thing. Getting them to fit physically can always be done.

Better to stick with the originals if possible, very straight forward disassembly, cleaning up the speedo internals with electronic contact cleaner,(the stuff for computers, not wd40) and polishing the crap off the dome/magnet inside the speedo also often works. New needles can be purchased off ali express for pennies, if the needles are good just very gently paint with orange enamel(its surprising how easily these crumble with the lightest knock) and carefully clean the faces with mild, soapy water and a cotton bud,(dont use any alcohol based cleaner as the paint rubs off instantly,(don't ask how I know this..... Often cleaning the tacho contacts and internals also brings them instantly back to life. Sometimes the needles are just stuck from sitting idle for too long.

Can confirm this works... Got mine working with your advice and just as you said the needles just crumbled. Luckily I found some orange plastic lying around so cut some new needles out of it.
