As Im picking up the Aprilia tomorrow, I thought I would get some insurance quotes for the bike, I tried insure my ride and 12 months fully comp for a 38 year old was $260,  I then called Suncorp as they have all my other policies and they were sub $200 including staff discount (my wife works there), the operator said they have revised their policies and are much more competitive on bike insurance .... IMO it is certainly worth taking a look at Suncorp as they are much more competitive and offer $1000 riding gear insurance in the price.

We will let you off with the shameless plug as you are the boss   But it is well worth shopping around it sounds like a good deal with the gear cover as well.

gio a suncorp company gave me a quote[age 64] and i went to qbe. depends on bike, living area and what policies you have. as a gio customer i have lifetime 60% off but still were not competitive.

I don't need more competitive rates unfortunatly. I just require a good faked birth certificate.

Stupid age based prejudice... I'm a (mostly) responsible rider damnit!

i have been using suncorp insurance on my motorcycles/cars for the past 20 years.never had a drama with them *EVER*

im my younger says, under the age of 25 my insurance was pretty damn expensive, but worth every penny when ever i needed something fixxed/repaired

suncorp is an amazing insurance company and they will continue to get my money for insurance so long as they keep looking after me.
