Hi Guys, slowly tuning the MC22 into the racing, done carburettor mods and gearing, now having some clutch slippage, anyone got any recommended brand of clutch plates for racing. We have gained 6 seconds a lap from bike in its standard road trim so we have made some good gains. Our class is mixed with 390KTM's and the MC22 is now up with them and we are having some good battles.
I have used the Barnett clutches in a couple of bikes with good results. http://www.barnettclutches.com/clutch-plates-springs.html
Barnett clutches are good , I have also used ferodo clutch fibres and springs, which your local bike shop can source for you . When you pull your clutch down, make sure you clean your metal plates properly and Measure your springs to determine they are in spec
