One of my customers was having a big clean up and bought down half of a Honda cd175 from the late 60's as a basket case. The frame is one of those old pressed steel jobs.

The next day I got some more crates of parts including lots of NOS parts he had purchased for the build. In return for the basket case , I was asked to vapour blast up some parts for his yzr500. The seat for the CD175 has been recovered, comes with a full gasket set, NOS harness, NOS headlight ring new chrome tank covers etc

I was told everything was there bar the wheels. I politely asked could he bring the wheels in but he just spent $500 getting new spokes and tyres and the hubs polished , he said If I wanted the wheels I had to cover the refurbishment costs , I thought bugger it , it is such a cool little Bike

I am going to get the frame and tins painted and take it home , I will play with it on nights and weekends.

This is my first basket case , now to find a manual

this is what I am hoping it will look like
