    Hi there .. from Penrith Australia..might be picking a lot of brains over the next few months. Trying to convert a Yamaha AG100 into bobber/cafe racer... cheers guys

    thanks for he welcome mate, have no intention on butchering the frame hahah. Was going to restore it to original specs but have seen pic on this site and through out the net and am convinced the Bobber/Racer style is the way I want to go. happy to take any tips or tricks you may have ??

    Haha.. its all good Rex, there are some very stylish and practical Bobber / Cafe racer bikes out there... and besides... the bike is yours and you should build what you want... .. you will find this to probably be the best forum on the interwebs... while some of us prefer to keep bikes reasonably original there is always plenty of assistance to be had from some very intelligent and skilled people on here...

    I believe its a 1973, there's quite a few things missing, thought id make a scrambler or similar out of it as its probably easier than trying to source parts to restore it back to its full glory.
