    grey, use a carpnters sash cramp and when in position use gangnails.sump oil to prevent white ants even though they are treated.

    Yah, sure. Everyone says they build a double car garage to keep the cars out of the elements. But once the garage is up, they leave the cars outside and use all the space for tools and bikes, and say "I should've built this a bit bigger... :p

    I have already drawn it all up to scale. Otherwise it would be an unusable mess for years.
    My wife gets two of the six garage bays for her car and her storage and the pushies.
    The workshop is divided into half for her woodworking and half for my metalworking.
    My car stays outside and the road bikes and bike clothing cupboard are in the bay by the other front roller door.
    The next bay back is for dirt bike and parts storage.
    The two bays at the back of the garage have the work benches, tyre machine and road racers and parts storage.
    The drawing shows that I already need to get rid of a couple of bikes.
    Probably should review what spares to keep too.

    Yea good thinking ..... Im going to build a small deck at the back of the house sometime too , so they will be used somewhere ..... they would definately make a solid frame for a bench :thumb_ups:

    If anyone is thinking "why didnt the idiot put the shed there in the first place" ..... its actually a slab thats been waiting for an eternity for a double garage ...... but cant afford that anyway and probably never will .

    It actually has way better access to roll the bikes in and out and ride in and out of the gate than at the back of the yard ..... the boat of course has been pushed into the backyard into total obscurity now.

    Such is life in the fast lane :crazypilot:
