    Hi All:

It took a tremendous amount of work, but I was able to convince the original OEM of piston rings, Riken, to make me a custom run of replacement rings for the NLA inline 4, 250cc motorcycles. I have currently been approved to make any sizes of NL3 (Yamaha FZR250), and KAZ (Honda CBR250RR MC-22). I am waiting for some Kawasaki and if any Suzuki parts might be of interest.

I have to order a minimum of 200 sets (50 engines) of each size. So, before I have a lot of stock in sizes that people don't care about, could you guys please let me know the following:

1): How many of you are out there that are hurting for rings?

2): What are the most used sizes of rings; STD, +0.25, +0.50, +0.75, +1.00?

Looking forward to a response ASAP.

yes i believe rings for the mc22 havnt been available from honda for several years now. Best of luck to the op with his endeaver, i hope there is enough take up to make it worth while. Us fzr owners should probably think about doing something similar for the carb needles and emulsion tubes!!

rings are available for mc14, -19, & -22 from honda in Japan. Biggest problem is making sure you have correct model. There are 4 different ring types (part numbers) for MC-19's and 3 for 22's. Rings are easy to get, Pistons on the other hand is where you will get issues. I currently have rings listed on my site $48 each

Actually, what I would be keen on is some zxr A model rings the 48mm ones. Those have been End of Life for ages or some 49.5 O/S ones
