Nice buy, they are good old bikes if you're not in a hurry to go places. My M20 is a rigid rather than the plunger frame and has girder front end, not the teleforks. They will happily lug a sidecar all day, every day. I'd throw a pic up but my hard drive died in my laptop so haven't got access to photos until my young fella tries to retrieve them (fingers crossed). He chucked an SSD in for me so no more wacky hard drive issues. Kids are funny, one day you're changing their nappies then next minute barely 11 years old and he builds a computer from scratch. :idk:

yep they are a chugger alright , got it home y/day sat on about 75kls most of the way as that was its comfort zone , came up the range which is steep and windy in top gear so definitly sidecar gearing , got home and found only getting 3/4 throotle as throtle tube is worn but luckily got a new indian made repo for the douglas ,be intresting to see how it goes after fitting , chair wont be going on for some time so looking at changing the gearing ,have you mucked around with your sprockets , if so what ratios and what is your h/way speed , one alternative is to put a m20 box in it while without the chair ..yep the kids are like that whats the saying .. having trouble with your electronic devices .. find a kid , they will fix the prob

I haven't touched mine but I think the highway speed is comfortable at about 80kmph. Sorry I can't confirm ratio at present as it is buried deep in the shed and it has been more than 15 years since I've ridden. Maybe it's high time I dug it out. Will try to count teeth as soon as is practical.
