It seems the new Daelim VJF250 is getting some very positve reviews  and I thought it was high time to knock up a Daelim Board.

    Cheers

All I can say about the Daelim is " WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BIKE". Had to stop by and collect some parts from Sunstate at Maroochydore on the Sunshine coast. When I came out I perused the Daelim 250 fuel injected bike and was very impressed by it's look, value for money seems a very reasonable machine.
Has anyone test riden this bike, would love to hear from you.
    Cheers  Phil

    the price wars have begun

KOREAN motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Daelim has announced an immediate $500 price rollback on its new VJF250.
This brings the price of this sporty little machine down to $4490 plus on-road costs.

Article on the Daelim in the latest issue of 2 wheels magazine

Road test was very good, all parties agreed that the bike did everything well except when it came to sound, rated poorly. Meeting EURO standards must be getting tougher.

Also the range has a new red colour available. So coupled with a price reduction this could be excellent value for money, certainly worth a look.

I have a feeling we are going to see more of these Korean bikes on our roads and why not. They look good, they do everything well and an after market muffler will undoubtedly change the sound, bring it on.

Hello everyone! New to the forum and I'm glad I stumbled across it!
I own a VJF 250 and have had it for about one month now. I love it!
A bit about the bike.... My first fill was 4.5 l/100, it's really nicely screwed together and looks brilliant. The instruments are great, especially at night, and it's got plenty of poke.
If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
    Cheers
    Weapadyweps.

    hey Weapadyweps

Welcome aboard, its great to see a Daelim owner join up, both Phil did some research on Daelim and it seems that are a rather mature manufacturer and have now moved into the sports bikes market. It would be great if you could post up some pics of your bike.

    cheers

    Chris

    Hey Weapadyweps

Welcome to the forum, nice to have a new member with a new bike. It was several months ago that we first posted  news of the VJF250 and we now have a member and owner on board.
We are keen to get photos and details of this Korean Beauty, look forward to hearing about it.
                                                                  Cheers  Phil

Ha ha I must say it's more a rich red than an orange; my crappy iphone camera didn't pick up the red. But thanks!

    Hey weapadyweps
Thanks for the great orange photos (oops ) red photos of your bike, looks great and I look forward to hearing more about your impressions of this beautiful looking machine.
By the sound of it fuel economy is excellent as it should be, in this day and age it is becoming a major concern. Anyway mate, enjoy the ride.

Also, second fill was 4 litres per 100. That's with opening it up at least once a day. I run BP ultimate, it's still only $12 a week for my commute and some other riding. Gotta love bikes.

After doing a bit if reading about these bikes, I'm seriously considering purchasing one. They certainly look good...

    Any problems with the 250?
