Just a heads up and mini tutorial.

Been chasing the source of a redish sediment that's been gumming up my carby float valve since I've gotten the thing, the tank is fairly spotless as far as i can see, and the inline filter equally clean.

So i ended up pulling out the needle seats to find a motherload of corrosion and crap behind it. So If you are cleaning the carbs on these don't forget to clean behind here either! It looks like the red plastic piece holding the filter gauze on is starting to disintegrate into the bowl, so i dunno if you can buy those bits new or if i'll have to just remove em and let the inline filter do the job.

ironic that the filter itself is the cause of the problem:)
Try Bert Kingston at Cleveland for replacements.
