    Hi guys

So a Lil about my Lil gixxer GJ72a:

Was looking to buy a small displacement gsxr in Cape Town missed out on a number of GK76 Gsx-r 400 I came across a Gsx-r 250 gj72a for sale and the guy was struggling to sell.

Let's describe it since I do not have (yes I know stupid me) pictures before it being stripped. Black colour but with a pearl colour similar to nissan NAG colour code.
Cheap slip-on exhaust which resembled a straw neck that folds lol and red calipers.

The guy dropped the bike a day or so before I purchased the bike so the screen is gone and a few of the panels took a hit so the price dropped by more than half.

Bike had a funny idle and I wasn't sure so I stripped the bike down to check if everything was in order. As the previous owner said the carbs where done and tuned.

I stopped out the sparkplugs for a new set drained the oil to renew the oil removed oil filter. Oil and filter still to be replaced what oil do you advise I use (please don't say liqui moly because it costs a fortune and has terrible oil burn issues as I use this on my Subaru and cannot wait to change oils)

Here some pics of the bike in question stripped down

Bit there to keep you busy then.
I use Castrol 4T in all my bikes with no problems. Some have found Caltex Delo 400 to be a good oil too.

I was checking it out some time ago do I need both kits or just the one? Apparently the previous owner said the carbs were synced but to me it sounded like spluttering.

Your call on that one, I am biased. :)
I don't like doing half a job but that is a personal preference. You can test the throttle shaft seal by spraying some WD40 on the seals while the engine is running. If it sucks in the WD40 then you will hear the difference.
    Cheers

Usually 14 to 20 days. Once in SA the tracking is hit and miss but none of my customers have ever failed to receive their order.

It seem the one part on the carb as directed on the left bank if sitting on the bike as one would ride. Broke off when attempting to loosen it off looks like I'm gonna have to source one of those will be ordering the kits you supply in the next few days

Look's like the parts are available individually, number #6, #7 and #42 in the diagram you posted above
Otherwise try and find a used cable set off a Suzuki Across GSX250F like the picture kiffsta posted

So I started stripping down the carbs to inspect them seeing mismatched screws and threaded screws

Wish u could find the guy who stripped this before and put a dumb vacuum pipe on that's collapsing.

Any input would be appreciated about this topic lol
