Project My 1984 Yamaha IT200L 43G

Thought i should really start a thread for my IT instead of posting update's elsewhere here.

I picked up the bike in september 2010, bought it off the old service manager from a local Adelaide Yamaha dealer Yamaha Pitman's who bought it off one of the owner's Doug Pitman.
The bike had done under 10,000km's since new
The bike was pretty clean for it's age and had a few thing's replaced with new oem item's including the headlight, and headlight shroud, one indicator, battery, and a tail light
The engine oil had just been changed and some new fork's seal's had been fitted and the fork's serviced.

Had a few small issue's like indicator's on one side weren't working, battery had been boiled due to a crook regulator, and the engine was slightly down on compression
I took the switches apart and cleaned up all the contact's and replaced the flasher can and got them working again
And found some nice blue mirror's at the local bike wrecker's for $10 ea

Here's the expansion chamber after i cleaned it up with a wire wheel, then used a 3M clean and strip disc to polish it up a bit, then painted with some Duplicolor High Tempo Ceramic black
