Hi all, first post on the forum and I have a question.
I have a 1980 CB250RS that I am using as a 'rolling restoration'. One of the things that has gone missing over the years is the tool box that lives under the battery box.
I bought one from eBay advertised as being for a CB250RS but it doesn't fit, I've attached the pics of the box and the battery box to see if anyone can help.
So, if it's not for a CB250RS, then what is it for?
    Thanks.

Thanks, does look like it from the image. I've looked all over for a part number with no results.
Be nice if it could find the bike of its dreams!

    Welcome to the forum.
Can you make that other tool box work on your bike ?

Is this the style tool box you need ?
@TechHeadFred may have a spare, although he hasn't been on here since february
    His build thread- https://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/cb250rs-restoration-rebuild.2299/

Ok, I think we're getting somewhere!

jimv50 is correct that it is for a 250 Nighthawk, there are a couple of ads on ebay for one's that look identical:
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CB250-CB-250-N-NIGHTHAWK-1999-T-REG-TOOL-BOX/114208305951

my67xr, that is exactly what I am after. The tool box comes in two parts, I have the rear bit but not the front that also has the access lid, the ebay one that you posted has the front piece but no lid, I could create a lid maybe?

Anyway now I know what I have and what the correct one looks like I can keep searching.
    Thanks for your help guys.
Now does anyone need a 250 Nighthawk tool box..........!!
