It seems so... Less than 300... It´s a good notice that I have such a rare bike but the problems balance the happiness with
But I´m looking at the GB250 and the engine is very similar, maybe they´ve got the same cams...

In my city an old man can make it but its 10 times more expensive than a regular cam, because of the work and presition required.... :help:

:welcome: to the forum Juan. How much damage to the cams , can you share some pictures. I'f new cams are not available , could you get your's repaired ?.Have you looked into this as they can sometimes be repaired via a camshaft specialists, had one done many years ago on a project. No doubt it would cost a bit but at'least they would / should be repaired properly for the future. Nothing wrong with your english , you're doing quite well for being rusty :thumb_ups:.

    Hi
your cbx looks very similar to my GB250 (naked and bits all over the place) :) if you download the gb250 parts list(in Japanese) in the reference section of this site,
you will be able to use the part numbers to search the net and honda dealers...pretty sure the cam kit part number is 14110-KL8-711 or 14110-KL8-710
also these ppl in Japan http://stores.ebay.com.au/ts-parts-japan?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
have a lot of parts for the 80's honda's, shoot them an email as they only put up a small amount of their stock on ebay..the prices are not to bad but freight can hurt a bit

Try jp-parts.com once you have the part numbers, fill out the quote form and they will get back to you with pricing, or let you know if the parts are NLA

Hi all! I am the person who wrote that wiki entry posted above, allow me to splurge my normally useless CBX250RS-E knowledge all over your interwebs..

    CBX250RS-E camshaft part numbers:
    Inlet - 14110-KE5-000
    Exhaust - 14120-KE5-000

Best of luck finding some, I couldn't.

    GB250 camshaft part numbers:
    Inlet - 14110-KE5-010
    Exhaust - 14120-KE5-010

(These are superceded to 020 and then another change must have happened to create those KL8 parts mentioned by Wozza, because they don't seem to be connected to the earlier part.)

DON'T BUY THESE! They don't fit in the CBX250 head. I found this out the hard way! This is my blog where I found out I'd made an expensive mistake:
    http://justbikethings.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/cbx250rs-e-engine-rebuild-09042012.html

My advice would be to get the cams and rockers refurbished, but if you get desperate you could possibly look into fitting a GB250 head. If you get really desperate I think the single cam head from an XLX250 engine may fit, and maybe possibly from the NX250 but that's just a guess, I've never seen anyone try it.

Stick with it Juan, these bikes are great when they work..

Somebody here (= the Netherlands) is advertising some parts for a CBX250RS, mentions a complete engine and a running engine. Not sure if he has got the numbers right but here is the link https://link.marktplaats.nl/m1155249581

He also advertises a complete bike noting it is an MC10 type, see links in the ad to other ads. As I'm not familiar with this specific type cannot offer any advice. If you need help communicating let me know, but a message in English will probably be no problem.

Thanks for all the advice on this link, I also have a frame, suspension, original alloy spocked wheels and an engine & hope to build a Cafe Racer of some sorts,
Its great to be able to Google search some great photos of the work that has already been done out there.
