Just helping youngest son with his ZXR 250
Has a hole in the timing cover so I think we will be looking for Parts.
(My personal transport is a 1997 Mitsubishi RVR HSGR so I know the pain of old grey imports)
Anyway it's a nice little bike and looks worth the effort to fix.
Hoping to find useful info here on the forums

Looking in there, also at the way to change a timing chain without taking the thing apart totally.
    Complicated little beast

Someone has done this, @Linkin may have done it with a continuous chain and I believe someone else has done this with an open link chain also, closing the joining link with the correct tool, although that may have been on an FZR250

Anyway sorry for being vague, someone has done it with pics in their thread - hoping the Grand Purveyors of Encyclopedic Knowledge of the Forum will chime in -> looking at you @GreyImport and perhaps @Frankster may have done this with his drag bike at some stage

@GreyImport - I hope you're wearing your Santa Hat giving out presents, a wee bit late, but it's COVID, so tardiness is forgiven

I couldn't find that page in google because I searched zxr250 cam chain, knew I'd seen it though and it was bugging me that i couldn't find it - so from me, thanks for the pressie Santa, now I can go annoy myself with other things that I cannot quite remember instead...
