Hey Mum ...I bought a Hyo!

    I only ask because I have china mini bikes they are oil cooled but still run very hot.

    How big are the coolers?

    I guess a mini bike doesnt get up the fast constant speed like a road bike to create the best cooling effect

    When this Hyo is done and road legal Ill be taking it out for a good run so we shall see how the temps are then.

    It was only running a small alloy block type. The oil only moved around the outside of it. But I have spent some money on this bike and got a cooler which S's it's way through the cooler. It helped but dam it's hot. Sitting on 60km-ish it heats up like crazy. But it's not geared for 90km for a long time.

    At least that fat ass Palmer hasnt stopped my free trade with China .....

    They are quite 'heavy' and solid ...hopefully they fit ok!

    Yup ...easy as ...... cleaned out the 'openings' with the old ones off (wat was left of them in my case)...a bit of lube in there and in they go
    Don't forget to re adjust the clutch cable so theres a slight bit of freeplay before it grabs.

    Fuchs Dot 4 blue was unobtainable but Bursons branded fluid came to the party.

    Yea so much easier bleeding thru the new fluid when its blue
    I went looking for the Fuchs after your recommendation awhile back but no one had it here and the guy at Bursons said it wasnt in production anymore after talking to his supplier..... ?
    But he remembered using their own stuff and that it was blue ..... only about $13 for 1Ltr


    Only need to pad up and bleed the rear brake and finish the main header and fit them and the fairings and it should be good to go.

    It looks really good so far, sounds like you're on the final lap. I found a half bottle of Titan Fuchs DOT4 in the garage, have to use it sparingly if that's the case. Shell brake fluid is blue also.
    Looking forward to seeing your bike on the road, think it might be a good thing.:thumb_ups:

    Last stages ..... headers on , chain lube ,chain guard , sprocket cover fitted , rear caliper reassembled and fitted ,rear brake bleed, muffler on ..... last of the bodywork to go.
