Morning everyone! Former rider, got back on a bike after more than ten years stuck in cages. I'm a car mechanic and chef that now works an office job thanks to a buggered up back. My current bike is a 2005 Suzuki VL250, and I love to hate that thing. Rides great, loads of fun....but if I ever meet the engineering team that designed it, I'm going to slap them with a trout. So yea, I'm generally an easygoing guy, willing to lend a hand when people need it, whether that's advice on how to fix something, or getting it up on the lift to look at it myself. I also tend to find problems that nobody knows the answer to, so be prepared for those threads.
. As mentioned , a lot of very helpful guy's on this forum and always willing to help. Without there help my bike would have never been finished how i wanted it . Welcome also to the buggered up back club , i'm one of them .
Thanks for the welcome everyone! If anyone in SA ever needs help, my garage is open whenever I am home (weekends), and I have pretty much everything needed to strip a bike down and rebuild it, including a rear paddock stand and a hydraulic lift. I accept payment in Asahi Super Dry, or cash towards the beer fund.
