i tracked down a set of stickers, he will include the "250" part, and in any colours i want, picture below. keep it simple. Better work out exactly which model it is so the stickers are true to the vintage. Screenshot_20210818-095321_Gallery.jpg

    got it home.....
    I like it!
Tank was bone dry, rust dust present. Cleaned that sufficient to try and start it up. Fuel tap leaks all over the place, needs sorting, but it runs, and sounds good! Bit rattlely, research and reading here says maybe clutch. My mate has FZR250 and said it could be Ex-Up valve. I got some reading to do here.
Already has new tyres, barley worn pads n discs, lots of new hoses.

The owner of Litetek @maelstrom , is a senior member here so some of us have had a long association with his products and everything is well researched , designed and manufactured to a very high standard

hey guys, parts turned up ages ago, have had no time to work on the bike yet.

    Sold all my bikes (2×MC19, 1xMC22, ZX10R 07, and 01 GSXR600) and bought a brand new 2022 GSXR750
    Goes hard, light and quick.
    Screenshot_20211205-204606_Gallery.jpg

kept the FZR250, got a mad mate with the same bike thats working on supercharging. Might go down that path too and track the fizzer.

Oh. hello! Been absent from this thread for a while. Yes, I always wanted to fit a Rotrex to something. Unless it starts raining money it will never happen though. Those little Aisin blowers are so cheap someone has to do it, right?

Thanks for all the kind words guys and thanks for your order @KiwiMat. Love the Gixxer. Nice to see a manufacturer stay loyal to their roots and keep making a 750.

    Update:
Got curious about the Aisin again. Here is a good document with a pressure map. Time for some more reading.

Oh, that's a shame. End of an era. Back to twin cylinder piles of crap like the "Yamaha R7".

Finally fitted the Litetek parts for the fuel tap. Got a tank in better condition than the one that came with it full of rust.
Gave it new oil filter n oil.
Order some manifolds for carbys from china, they turned up real quick. Found a new rocket cover gasket in Japan, that should turn up soon. Ordered the Unifilter air filter as well, it does have an original air filter in it which is in pretty good nick.
Be good to get those carbs balanced up once its got the new bits on it.
