Part Numbers 3HX-1133E-00 and 3HX-1133F-00, I know where I can source them in Japan for about $80 delivered but is there anywhere to get them in Australia. I'm impatient.

    Cheers

Are you outer cables or adjusters damaged? Venhill sell an EXUP repair kit: https://www.venhill.co.uk/universal-exup-cable-repair-kit-u01-11-100.html

Otherwise, Venhill also do a cable making kit. I have one at work. I'm certain I could make up some EXUP cables as good as factory even if the outer sheath is damaged so long as the adjusters are intact (or replace them).

Any decent bike shop will have a kit to make cables, the trick is finding one near you.

    Thanks for the reply

I only have one of the cables and it is slightly damaged, the bike I am restoring was missing them and the parts bike I purchased had only one but with damaged strands.

I have a set on my bench, I still need them but I can give you accurate measurements to make your own if you like

That would be awesome, where do you get the parts to make them up?

You'll need to find someone or a workshop that has this Venhill kit: https://www.venhill.co.uk/cables-an...workshop-clutchthrottle-cable-kit-vwk005.html

And has enough of the bits in stock to make a set of new ones

Here in Oz, Kenma are the distributor for Venhill, many bike workshops will have an account with them. Though I doubt they would purchase the kit for one cable making job, hence the importance of finding somewhere that already has it.

Just checking the part numbers on EXUP cables between FZR250 and FZR1000

Part numbers are matching except for the end suffix which denotes a parts revision. May or may not work. An exact match is better.

    FZR1000: 3GM-1133E-01-00, 3GM-1133F-01-00
    FZR 250: 3GM-1133E-51-00, 3GM-1133F-51-00

Good news is that both push and pull cables are identical

I have ordered 2 cables, the dimensions match the existing cable I have so hopefully it will be all good.
