Not that I can remember ? , but that's the norm for me, every year the plan is to "mix more" on the social side, but the bike usually keeps me very busy (frustrated), in between the waiting times, the drinking times & crackin' a fat as some really. really fast blokes fly by searching for traction at speeds above 200 mph, blink your eyes and the week is over:crazypilot:
The only time I boned up on the 250 was when I saw 16,000 rpm on the tach, although I neglected to notice I was still in 5th gear, the temp gauge was stuck on zero after a coolant hose had blown off, which led to dropping a section of a valve seat thru a piston, out the exhaust, & back into the blower.
Next year I gotta change the plan,,,go straight to 6th, then see what happens .

    Late report,,,,,
I remembered 6th hear, finally , in 2018 , which was selected prematurely when the clutch decided to slip over 60% throttle in 5th gear,,top gear was no better & I nursed it at 100 mph for the last mile, and made it thru the timing traps,
100.2 mph average  thru the timed 1/4 mile with the smell of cooked clutch plates filling my nostrils
I had plenty of time to look at egt, which never got over 840 F, engine coolant (water wetter) temp was stable at 80F, & the freshly installed intake temp sensor was showing 80 F at the start line, & 78 F at the end of 2 miles of throttle angryness, which shows that choosing methanol fuel to combat excessive head build up as a result of compressing the intake charge was a wise one.

Rider #2 followed team orders for his run, and remained in 5th gear, riding around the clutch slip & managed an average speed or 107.xxx mph
