Hi guys i recently put a cone/pod filter on my bike. When I rev it up it revs without hesitation BUT it backfires and if i open throttle to fast it stalls.
So now here is the question bit haha...
    1.Is it necessary to rejet
    2.Is it possibly running lean
3.how do I adjust air/fuel mixture and by how much.

I don't want to go to my local Honda Dealer because they a bunch of uppity assholes.
Called them to order a clutch cable and he keeps sighing as if he has better sh!t to do anyway hope you guys and gals can help me out.

Could be lean, those silly little pod filters do funny things to the air going into CV carbs.
Try pulling the choke on and see if it goes better. This will richen the mixture and may point you in the right direction.

Is your objective to make the bike faster with more power ?
1 ) CV carbs generally are made for fuel economy and emissions not performance. They don't work well with pod filters and rejetting is usually required. The carb likes still air so nothing beats an airbox for this.
    2) To get more power from the bike it needs more controlled less bunny hugger fueling, it needs to breath better and a less restrictive exhaust. Hence fit a slide type carb - concensus amongst our racers in this class is that the pumper carb from the crf 150 is the best match.
