    Hi all,

I want to change my front sprocket from 14t to 15t to ease the revs a bit - I saw on the website it was also a good idea to do this.

In a possibl bid to save money, are the front sprockets the same as any other Honda? maybe a model that is more common - possibly CB250N? I have noticed on a few websites there is a 16t available as well, is this a good idea? or will it slow things down too much?

    Many thanks, Kelvin

the engine is an XL or XR, but there are differencess in the diameter of the outgoing shaft, so be sure to check this before ordering, cheers Jo.

The 15 tooth will hardly be a noticable drop in power, but the 16 tooth will loose a bit when coming to a hill. 16 will give better economy and maybe a higher top speed but will loose acceleration.

Thanks for the responses guys, I've found one on ebay for £9 so I'll try 15 and see how I get on.
