It would have to be right up near the top though...

LOL, yes it is definately in the top 10. The comments in the 'Discussion' section under the article basically cover what everyone (including me) dislikes about it. I posted the article as the Czech builder seems to have spent a lot $$$ and time to build it, but it's a bit fugly. It was meant to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Moto Guzzi brand, but it kind of does the opposite. I never really understand what builders are thinking when they embark on a build like this. The front end slops down towards the back and I'm guessing it will only look worse when someone sits on it. Its wheelbase is so long they should have put a double seat on it and a second set of pegs! It is unique looking, but in a bad way. @Gizziracer is a keen MG fan, so I'd be keen to read what he thinks of it.

This is for the young'uns who suffer from the delusion that today's "cafes" are cool. Now I know that only hideous piles of garbage are supposed to be in this thread, which is why I made it, but someone has to defend the honour of Moto Guzzi. So without further ado, I present a real motorcycle from 1971. If you still think that the butchered bike shown above is cool then seek help. :)

@maelstrom agree. The original bike looks so much better.

Yes, the old saying 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' certainly describes the whole bespoke 'Cafe Racer' sector. As many on here have pointed out, the original bike is often 'better' than the cafe conversion/build. I particularly find it funny when new members join this forum and tell all how they have bought an XYZ and they have cut this and welded that, but haven't bothered to get the bike running! And, lets not get @Murdo started on pod filters!

I'm not interested in the Cafe Racer seen per se, but I do enjoy looking at what people build regardless of whether I like it or not. I mean, have a look at the detail on the Beemer that was posted by @maelstrom. As he said, good tyres and some mudguards and we'd all probably want to take it for a spin. Occassionally, I get caught by click-bait while reading or researching other things. There are certainly many unique looking builds on that bikeexif website I pulled that Moto Guzzi from. Here's a few more depending on your taste. The donour bike is in the web address. The last link has a Beemer, a Moto Guzzi and a couple of Japanese bikes.

Sorry I meant the Blue one, I think putting heat wrap on the exhausts would spoil the looks, only my opinion.

Here is my bitza baby, has about a million kilometres, rough as guts but always starts n always gets me home. I don’t hate the custom one featured but it will almost certainly only be ridden a few kms a year. The silly plank seat is the worst feature.. a seat hump/tail piece would make all the difference in my opinion 06DFE6FB-5300-4638-88F3-E890F120AE55.jpeg

Okay, I was pretty bored the other night and watched this YT Vid from beginning to end. I guess it shows what can be done with time, resources and knowledge, but at the end of the vid I had to ask myself 'why?'. Or, more accurately, 'what's the point?'.

Only halfway through video and have already realised I need some stripey overalls and a finger sander. There are some great skills involved in the making of this but please man, tighten up the bottom anvil on your wee English wheel! What a fabulous hobby, way better than sitting around doing a sudoku (suduko/soduku/sodoku/soduko? this drives me nuts) or a wordle.

Interesting enough Video I guess but at the end of the day he took a nice enough average handling gutless Postie bike and made it into an ugly, even worse handling (still gutless) piece of rubbish...
Should have been called Munted Products rather than Kenteed Products...

I know it doesn't have a brown seat, but you should be able to look past that Frank. It is for sale, but sadly you guys are in the wrong country.
