what would you expect to pay for a zzr250 1994 model , complete and running but with a fuel system prob (????) , no beauty queen but not a wreck either , anything especially should look out for with this model ,only seen photos but is a couple of hour trip to go look at it , says 31000 kls on it , owner says previous owner put a new carb kit through it but wont start and hes not up on carbs , turns over but wont fire up

If it wont run then no more than $500.
Carbs are a big pain to get out, but the rest is mostly reliable. Check the rectifier too.

A few years back I inspected a very run down MC19. The guy had advertised it for $1000.
I purchased it for $300 after he was unable to demonstrate that it would run.
I had it running within 15mins of getting it home on the back of a trailer.

think will pass on the zzr250 but have been given a line on a cbr250 1999 , was a jap import in 2005 and registered then .. doesnt hurt to look and its no major distance from here plus not a bad price
