You got away with beating the cops, now keep your head down in case they see you again.

    :D

Yea my street is a bit of a dragstrip for all ....even the buses seem to speed
It heads up the hill to the Tafe and a high school ,coming from town, so theres tons of P platers with their $10 rocketships and loud exhausts ..... not to mention those noisy inline 4 bikes.

If they actually came at peak times morning and afternoon , instead of the quiet mid day, they would make a fortune in speeding fines.

The bike cop must be new ... Ive never seen one in town before.

I have a TAFE carpark over the back fence. It is an interesting place to live.
At the end of classes, 4pm, V8 and turbo cars, road and dirt bikes leaving at a great rate of speed and noise.

Learner drivers and riders at all hours doing laps, cars doing burnouts, some use it as a race track, others practice handbrake u-turns. Funny, hardly ever see the cops, although did see them chase a car into a back corner were there is a walking track. Think the occupants were apprehended at the other end of the track.

Then you get people in go-karts, others racing RC model cars. Chinese segways. Kids riding bikes and people walking.

When I was on my learners (Aged 50 ) out riding the FZR250 with my riding mate (10 years older than me) on a 250 intruder , we got pulled up on an exit road from the highway. Policeman came flying up behind us and I was actually doing 80k (suprise) Did see him in the mirrors from a long way back with the lights flashing. When we pulled up and he got out of the car and saw our faces he apologised and said " I thought you were a couple of young blokes " got back in the car and drove off. Not a good attitude is it??

Did get a warning notice when I took off in town at the lights on the way home. Did not realise it was an unmarked car and I burnt him off from the left lane going up a steep hill out of town centre, probably got up to 70-80 then eased off a fair bit when I realised the car behind was doing pretty well to keep up. Pulled me up at the top of the hill and the young policeman asked me "didn't you see me down at the lights"
    .
Pretty obvious NOT. Then checked my history over radio and came back saying "I have a bike, I know what it is like" gave me a warning notice (two years of good behaviour and all is forgiven).

That is about my 10 years of riding experience with law enforcement.
