    Hi guys.

I own a FZR 400 and just picked up a 1989 FZR 250 in Canada. It's not in the best condition with some bad wires, bent plugs, and rashed covers and mirrors.

Anyone in North America can direct me to the best source to parts for reasonable price (don't want to give up kidney)? To start off I'm specifically looking for a left front signal lens cap. Also clutch lever and plug wires. Is this part interchangeable with other domestic parts?

    Thanks!

that looks quite tidy, have a look on eBay. clutch lever and indicators have been replicated by good mates in China and are cheap as chips.

Australia would be the best place to get 2nd hand parts outside of Japan. You will have to pay 2 kidneys for post though. If you could make a list of parts you need some of the members here might be able to put it together as one parcel.

I would say the indicators are the same on all the FZRs and probably alot of others from that period

The FZR250 was a grey import to Australia and everywhere else ... It was a Japan only official release
But theres alot of them here

Thanks that makes it easier I'll hunt for FZR400 or 1000 lens as well then.

Also, very excited to be part of this community! :) I used LiteTek seals for my 1988 FZR400 and 1990 GSXR 750.

Hmm actually the pictures in the FZR250 signals look more "square" whereas the FZR400 signals look more "pointy"....

Anyone know if those Chinese Ebay ones are OEM dimensions to swap?

I bought chinese ones. While they aren't great quality the lens covers should fit on the OEM housing

Thanks guys! I've taken it around the underground parking lot so far. I can't wait for spring to ride it!

The link for the parts number catalogue in the sticky isn't available anymore. Can someone direct me to another source, and the best way to cross reference to see if any domestic parts could be substituted?

    I found the
    signal lens: 3L5-83312-00
    clutch lever: 3HE-83912-00
    spark plug cables:???

    Thanks!

How much will it be to get that chrome one shipped to me in Toronto, Canada? Thanks!

If you have a front signal lens and original mirrors that would be PERFECT. I'm sure I'll need more things but since it's a new bike and I'm too busy to look at the bike more closely, it all seems to be okay otherwise. I'd like to keep it as original as possible.
