I bought this bike from my neighbor for $800. It came with 90% of everything I needed to make a bike, a spare frame, some after market brakes, a couple spare wheels, one was destroyed but they both has good tires. and a whole box of spare parts.
It came as an engine, inside of a frame and that was it. Everything was in pieces.
I built her to be a complete bike in my back yard, I needed transport after losing my job and suffering a pretty bad break up and having to sell 90% of my stuff, and with only $1000 in my savings account it was cheaper than any car I could find.
this bike was pretty much done all on the cheap, 99% of all the labour was done myself, the only thing that wasn't was the front fork seals and the actual roadworthy.
4 months later, She's all put together, She passed a roadworthy, got registered and even got me through my license tests (except for the figure 8's).
I think that's a pretty good achievement for a 20 something year old did in the back yard.
But here she is, the bike that was destined to be thrown away for scrap.
