Looks really nice! Makes me want to rearrange my toolbox so I can actually find what I'm looking for...
I'll have to invest in one of those one day. My wife always asks me what I want for Christmas, so in 11 months time I'll know what to tell her! Not sure she'll be too responsive, but it's worth a shot.
Wow, this great news! I thought about a bike wrecker business, but it won't work with my personality: I'll want to fix them all! Beware of the Snap On truck!! You will need unique tools with many bikes, and when you start looking in a snap on truck, you'll find even more tools you'll want... I'm going to have to visit. I might have cleaned the shed by then and can bring a trailer load of assorted bike bits for you. Have you spoken to other wreckers? Maybe one is wanting out of the game and will sell their stock? And tools, shed, offer some words of wisdom... All the best.
The guy I know at Murwillumbah could be a candidate to sell up or clear a lot of stock, he has been the sole carer for his wife the last few years.
cheers Shane, I have been in a bit of mood as I missed out on an awesome shed in Tingalpa , I was waiting for a copy of the body corporate agreement before putting in an offer and when I chased the agent he said he sold it. Oh well, I am sure I will find another. @sharky, I wont be in position to start shopping up until early April, after that, I would appreciate any tips , in saying that, I wont be buying up job lots of parts , my preference is full bikes so I can be 100% sure the parts I am selling actually work, after all, its my reputation on the line.
Don't panic about the shed, as disappointed as you might be, just like bikes, there'll be another good deal along, you've got a few months. You're buying a candy store for bikers, that's cool.
I went out and bought most of my OH&S stuff yesterday such as safety glasses, first aid kit, signage, I am building up quite the big collection of stuff in the shed in preparation for opening day. I am going down tomorrow to buy some sign white steel so I can my signs done up with the vinyl cutter.
Dont forget the white plastic chain that most mechanics/wreckers like to cordon you off with just as something catches your eye at the back of the workshop lol. Vinyl cutter? A decal production line down the track too maybe.
Awesome news and best of luck Kiffsta & Phil! Excited to see this happening and looking forward to seeing the operation open up.
Great news guys, everyone here I know will show support as much as they can. If there is one thing we all know is that you can sniff out a bargain from 2 states away, and they always manage to work for you in one way or another... It has been offered here before by other lads but you sure as **** know I will be available for you if you ever need a hand with anything or need bikes picked up on the north side, after all the whole reason I brought my ute was to haul bikes... Also have a steel lathe, welder, mill and basically all the tools in a machine shop to help out with fixing any parts or custom making rare parts.
