Does anyone know a place to get this done in the UK please? I've been looking out for a decent replacement head for a while but not found one. My bike's running but rattling pretty badly and I'm sure the camshaft bearing surface has had it.

    Thanks,

    /Simon

You need to pull it apart and have a look/measure. Are you sure the noise is not the chain rattling?

Usually caused by oil starvation. I have seen them re-bushed with aluminium shells.

there are not the quietest of heads at any time, have you checked, and rechecked, the valve clearances? I bought the special tool from Dave Silver, 07708-0030400. They may not have any in stock now but for a few quid they make the job so much easier.
I thought mine was gone but when I pulled it apart it was perfect.
Just trying to save you the aggravation of looking for very rare part, a good condition head
