    Hey boys and girls,

Im new here so Hello everyone. Had my ZXR a few weeks now and the clutch has started to slip on full throttle after 12,000rpm and catches back up a few 0,000rpm later. just wondering if anyone can recommend a new clutch for her? not sure of my options or suppliers within Australia and also original/upgraded parts.

    Thanks
    Lewis

check the adjustments first mate, the little screws on the rhs can sometimes vibrate loose if they arent done up tight enough, i had the same problem, clutch would slip at 16000 rpm. Turns out i adjusted it like a knob so through trial and error i got it right.

someone on here will be able to tell you how it should be adjusted if that is the problem.

oil change can help aswell. New clutches arent cheap either.

Thanks for the reply zixxer. Will have a look at that after work. Im guessing you mean the screws holding the clutch on? Yeah i didnt think it was going to be cheap! But who knows could be on its way out.

it could be on its way out, but if not yopur gonna save afew hundred bucks and time.

there is a screw on the actual clutch lever and down near the oil fill cap, both can vibrate loose if not done up properly.

    Hey Lewis

The manual in the downloads is for an C model, however the clutch is the same across both, check the manual for how to adjust your clutch including freeplay in the cable. If the cable is all good, then you may need to look at your fibres for wear and to ensure your springs are within tollerance.

If you do remove the fibres and plates, make sure you get them back in order or it will play havoc with your clutch

    Cheers

    Kiffsta
