Is there a way to sort events, members, posts etc. by region. I seem to be in a minority down in Cape Town, South Africa. -it would be nice to see if there are any events that I might be able to go to or if there are any Members I could organize something with.
Riding Green Ninja 300 (not the ABS special edition). Just traded in my 2007 GPX 250 to get it. -very pleased
to the forum, nice choice of bike, the 300 ninja is very popular around the globe. Would be great to get some pictures of your bike and perhaps some info on your region in South Africa, always keen to learn.
Hi Cape Town is quite a 'European' City, on a mountainous peninsula, so its very pretty. -my ride to work is 30km against traffic and includes a 10km mountain pass. Population is very split economically, with a huge poverty problem as well as a fair population of very wealthy peolpe, and a minority of so-called 'middle class'. There are not too many 250's on the road, although there are plenty of off-road 250's that people have on farms and such. what I see on the road is mostly scooters and little bikes 50cc to 200cc, or Bigger bikes, 600cc and up, but 250's are definately catching on. There are more and more recently. -will post some pics when I get 'round to it.
Hi mate....bike looks great ...blends in with all the greenery around it This member joined recently with a ZXR250 and I think he is in Cape Town. CnmgManuel
Hey Mate, that bike looks awesome but needs to be ridden, far too clean. Forgot to mention, a motorcycle mechanic friend of mine who is located on the sunshine coast is also from Cape Town, he has a huge framed photo of Cape Town in his workshop, beautiful place.
Haha, yes it's particularly clean at the moment. -just came back from a service and they washed it at the workshop. Also looks all shiny cause we had a bit of rain, and my flash was on. Cape Town is very pretty. It would be cool to post some pics/video of some of the roads, but I don't have a GoPro camera. I'll have to find a way of sticking my phone to my jacket or something. Otherwise I'll just have to resort to stopping to take pics.
