my name is wout Bijlsma, living in the north of the Netherlands and the owner of a yamaha yds3 from 1966, bought it a couple of months ago, and working on its refit, add some new pistons, a paintjob, new rims and spokes and a lot of litlle stuff. as i bought it almost everything of frame is painted fenders and the seat are painted and the tank and putt it all together, only a couple of small things has to be don, and within a couple of weeks we try it for a run.
Welcome. Nice job on the bike. Did a YDS-5 a couple of years ago, and there are a couple of other '3's being rebuilt on this forum. http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/1967-yamaha-ds-5-250cc-rebuild.2185/
