    Hi all,

Gonna be moving to a new place soon that doesn't allow me to have 2 bikes so unfortunately the Ninja will have to go. I'm unsure of what to ask for it though.

It's a 90 'A' model with 38,xxx km on the clock and all stock aside from mirrors (from what I can tell). Carbs have been rebuilt by previous owner about 6 months ago, and it got a new battery last month. Previous owner also had it resprayed blue. I had it checked over before I bought and everything looked good except for a leaking rocker cover which I had fixed.

Starts easy and revs clean through the rev range. Rego is expired but has plates etc. I've taken it to work a few times (unreg permit) and it's a hoot to ride. Genuine regretful sale here. I'm thinking of asking for $1500 but thought I would get opinions first. Don't wanna ask too much.

Throw it on for 1700, then you can take 1500 when someone bargains you down

In melbs there's a few around but coming into summer should sell quick and you should be able to get $1500-$2000 for it. I'd put it up at $1900 and take $1750ish. $1000 bikes in my opinion need at least a little work done, this one doesn't look like it. But it all depends how quickly you want it gone, if you're prepared to sit for a couple of weeks you may score $500 more.

Having lived in 4 states bikes/cars are worth less in some compared to others. I think QLD and SA are probably lowest with NSW and WA being highest. VIC is about mid range, so asking prices do vary.

Thanks guys. I'd be happy with $1500 to be honest. Looking at others for sale there seem to be some greedy sellers out there. I'll put it up for $1800 neg. I reckon thats fair. I got it off an enthusiast and would love to pass it on to another one who will appreciate it.
