    Nah I don't know could probably be 1991-2 but I'm just guessing cos I have a 1990 twin lights but the front cowel is different.

    It looks so sexy when new ey.

    The little badge on the frame near the neck gives it away "OW01"

    From that site "The FZR-R750 was a limited edition superbike produced in 1989. Above is a picture of two color schemes they came in. There were only 250 of these beauties made with only 30 imported into the USA. They still sale for well over (us)$10,000, if you can find one. ......."

    Well done Dave!

    Well I found one - only 25K and she could be yours. 7866 km on the clock. It would almost be a shame to ride it. Yeh they only built 250 of them - to satisfy the requirements that they were racing a "production bike". I sat on it - it's definitely a race-only setup. Would be fun tho!

    Hey thanks for posting that magazine write-up Dave. I tried Googling for how they actually did in competition, but couldn't find anything. Did they give those RC30's a run for their money?
