    Hello everyone

Can someone tell me if it is possible to run my bike without the muffler, as with having the exup vaule in the exhaust would it provide enough back pressure for the engine without the muffler. Offer then the noise would it effect the preformance much if at all.

    Cheers CHRISO85

The EXUP doesn't control 'backpressure', it controls velocity. The variable restriction maintains velocity (just like the slide on a CV carb) to prevent reversion (think 'back-washing') and dilution / contamination of the fresh charge in the cylinder. It is this contamination of the charge that causes the power-loss when the EXUP is pinned open.

Pedantic responses aside, the -muffler- is the source of backpressure, and you will be flowing a LOT more air, and will need to completely rejet. Plus your ears will bleed, your neighbours will hate you and set fire to your bike in the night, and the cops will have absolutely no problems finding you to give you a ticket. <!-- s:cop --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cop.gif" alt=":cop" title="Cop" /><!-- s:cop -->

    Don't do it.

"Post to: Worldwide" Says on the ebay link so that would be a yes.

Sexy looking pipe as well. Deadbirds did you need a tune afterwards? If you did not is it running richer? Less power? Back pressure change at all?

" a bit richer" - sorry, still waking up. Did you have to jet up or down?

Hey deadbirds can you post a video of it idle and revved. If it's possible can you also get one on the go would love to hear it on board and from the outside when you open the throttle.
