Although I don't own one a good mate of mine has one of these bad boys and lets me ride it quite often. Great little supersports and it moves pretty damn quick high up in the rev range. They also handles and brakes very well and are an absolute thrill in the twisties. Will be riding it as well as my R6 at the next coming track day.  ;D

Although I don't wanna plug another forum there's a wealth of info at fzr250.com if anyone is looking for more FZR specific information.

Hi Keffsta, I have a FZR250RR the one with twin disc at the front. What I notice is if you don't start it for few months it will not straight away, mine takes about 2 to 3 goes before she start. So what I have done is start it once a week and let it run for 2 to 4 min just to keep the fuel and carby going. Once you do this in regularly you wont have any problem and she will fly like a butterfly.

Generally if a bike is left for long periods without running, the fuel in the carby bowls will dry out and will leave a varnish on the bowls and jets whihc can lead to blockages, starting them weekly is a good thing and keeps the carbys clean and gives the electrical system the chance to charge the battery.
