    mine was about $1100.
(lol. plus about $240 on picking it up)
but as soon as i got it i took it to a dealer to see how much it was worth and he offered me about $2400 trade in. =]
i recon with a little bit of modding i can get it up to a nice $7000-8000.
    =]

hmm it looks like i paid a lot compared to soem of you folks.

mine was $4470 for an fzr250 '89 with 16057km on the clock (or somethinglike that but it wasnt' too much over 16k) i got it with a 6 month waranty, rego adn service so i dont' have to think mechanics for too long anyway (tho i want to get it going even faster lol).

to me this is not a bad purchase in anycase since all the competition was about that much or more with some more kays usually so this was sweet <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    mine was.. umm..
    £600. so about $1100.
and it WAS all perfect. only thing wrong with it now is that my mum made the garden gate narrower one day and didnt tell me... lost both mirrors and they took the tips of the topframe with them. lol.

where abouts in UK are you and what year is yours?

    just curious.

got mine in Kent, was the only one i could find all problems are cosmetic like a crack in fairing and flaking paint on mirrors.
is a picture of it on here in the pic section

Got my 1990 YZF 250 for $2,800 with 6 months rego and brand new bridgestone tyres on it! I only have to get the carbi's cleaned out and looked at and she will be good as new, only done 14,000 genuine km's with service records to prove. Im so pleased with this bike! Bike starts first time everytime, slight knocking when cold but disappears afters shes warmed up. (Knocking only when cold starting with no choke)

    So yeah $2,800 + $200 for RWC = $3000AUD

Ok, I have just done the Tassie Toy run. Just got home a few hours ago and done about 730km over two days, weather a bit ordinary yesterday but much better today. Police were out in force (bad pun)

Paid $3200 for a '91. 45,xxx on the clock with 3 ~ 4 months rego. In pretty good shape - just got licenced in October. Then had to drop another $200 getting the custom muffler returned to good shape. Pretty happy with it tho. I guess there's less 2nd hand bikes in an isolated city like Perth than some of the more densely populated areas over East.

$3300 with 7months rego and new tyres, few little dents on the exhaust from a drop and a mysterious tapping noise like some of the other people have noted...
