exup cables

    hey guys i was jus wondering if any1 could tell me where to get some exup cables second hand or new?? maybe some 1 has some spare that they could sell me in syd? i checked them the other day and realised 1 of them was snapped,looked like it had been like that 4 a while...so i jus removed them totally now my bike pops n farts under load at around the 8k rpm mark, sounds really nice at idle though, nice and beefy...lol now its giving me the shits and i need to fix it b4 i sell it.. thanks guys any help is appreciated <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    If you really want a proper cable then you can call around all the wreckers. If on the other hand your feeling like getting your hands dirty you can make one up out of an appropriately sized push bike brake cable.

    yeah i thought about making my own but from memory push bike cables dont have two of those cylinder shaped knobs on both ends only 1 for the brake lever...i guess ill try some more wreckers see how i go.

    You can get new ones from the yamaha dealers but be prepared to pay about $90 each

    geez i dont know about paying 180 bucks 4 2 cables...if i cant find any second hand ill jus leave it. thanks guys

    hey you can make your own ones out of bike cables and its super cheap like 20bucks to make 2
    i work in a bike shop and all u need is 2 normal brake cables and ul b think what about the knoby bits? well u can get skew on ones for like $1. 50 each and just cut cable to lenth and skew on <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
